Why do we love this case?
Here, we bring you the best of the best. These are the wines that our producers have loved so dearly that they've kept a few behind at the cellar for their future selves (and, some lucky customers who might get the winemakers on a good day). We've had to do some really sweet talking, a little bit of begging, and a lot of string-pulling to curate this case. Presenting: the Aged. Shiraz. Trio. It feels good to say it, and even better to drink it.
1x Cape Barren The Vale Shiraz 2019
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Barossa
Bursting with a complex and fruity palate that flows into a spectacular and warm finish, this shiraz is, hand-on-heart, one of the most impressive and iconic drops to make its way out of the Vale. Honestly, this deal is so unbelievably good that it's hard not to give you a peak behind the curtain. We can say this though - it's one of the best offers of the year. It's a shiraz that's smooth and toasty yet oh so complex with an intensity that will push your eyebrows to your hairline for all the right reasons.
You’d pay $210 full price.

Tasting Notes
1x Ulithorne Singularis Shiraz 2019
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Barossa
This is one of those ridiculously complex drops. From one of our (and apparently every reviewer's) favourite producers of all time. Get ready to be embraced by an array of fresh berries, chocolate biscuit, fudgey brownie and vanilla pie decadence.
At five years, it's just starting to lean into its age - you certainly wouldn't have wanted to drink this marvellous drop any earlier. A little bit of leather and tobacco notes are starting to show themselves, marking this wine's time spent in the cellar. Make no mistake, this wine has got more lives than a cat still to live, with a depth and freshness to the tannins that is so remarkable to experience. We probably need not say much more about this one. If you're looking for a cost effective way to really knock people's socks off, you've found it right here.
You’d pay $195 full price.

Tasting Notes
1x Schild Estate Edel Shiraz 2019
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Barossa
You know when something seems too good to be true? That's what we thought of this wine before we got stuck in. I mean, a revered Barossa producer, with a premium, wax-dipped shiraz that received a glowing 95pt Halliday review that we could sell for... how much? Sure enough, when it hit the tasting bench, it surpassed all expectations by miles. This isn't just any wine of high calibre, this is an awe-inspiring Barossa shiraz. Given this winery is all about their heritage estate vineyards, I guess we should never have been surprised at how good this could get.
You’d pay $195 full price.
